( the Two Stars are the best thing about this so I gave the movie Two Stars )
it’s Not Easy Being Green but it’s an absolute privilege listening to Cynthia Erivo belt out that one musical number that does her talents justice. the Rest of the songs however, are not very Memorablous at all (but at Least there were no Scuttlebutts)
I thought that Ariana Grande looked like she might be annoying from the trailers but my Suspicionations were dead wrong. Arianas over the top Cutesy-Pooquaciousness is simply Splendiferous. She is Tons Of Fun here
Some good creative ideas were all over this project but the distractingly sloppy blocking was definitely not a good flaw for a musical. the Sets were also fun, but the bland, glarey, over lightification was even worse than “the Rings Of Power” season 1. it Really made things look cheap and tacky, like my apartment. Then after a long while, just to mix things up - they decided to have an extended sequence be underlit instead, which just made things look ugly and dingy - like my apartment
and i Have so many questions about the VVicked VVitch - like :
1. Howcome she doesn’t get third degree burns on her cheeks whenever she cries ?
2. How does she clean herself if she can’t even take a sponge bath ?
3. Does she stink ?
4. if She Can't work out and sweat then why is she not fat ?
5. What does she drink ? or does she not need to drink ?
