Maybe not the most well-structured movie, but good god this was fun! I love how Burton continues to commit so much to practical effects here, and there are some really impressive set pieces here. I had so-so expectations going into this, but the way that this sort of felt like a classical blockbuster definitely sold me on it. The performances are all excellent, and pretty much all the comedy lands. As I mentioned, definitely not the most well-structured... I wanted to give this a 4, but I'm not sure if I can justify that by putting this over some of the other movies I've given 3.5 stars this year. Nevertheless, the vibes are emasculate, and wouldn't protest giving this a rewatch. Fun evening at the movies, bring on spooky season!
