Since I first saw this film me my brother and our mate all said to each other we gotta see this on the big screen at some point in our lives and today was the day and it didn’t disappoint.
This was single-handedly the best cinema experience of my life, the screening was packed full but absolutely silent to appreciate this masterpiece. Hanz Zimmer and Hoyte Van Hoytema left me with my mouth open for scenes I’ve seen 5/6 times before goosebump, every element of the film is made for the big screen and any fan of the film needs to take whatever chances they get to go see it there.
Beyond the ridiculously good cinematography and score it was the acting that blew me away this time and I think the Young and adult castings for Murphy is the best young/old casting since Vito Corleone.
Wether you like this film or not the docking sequence is undeniably incredible, idc.
This continues to be one of my favourite films of all time and is maybe the best sci fi film I’ve ever seen also.
