Like literally every Charlie Kaufman film, more about it clicks every time I watch it. Literally nobody can replicate the level of existentialism and beauty that he adds to his films.

I thought it was tied with rear window for my favourite film of all time but I really think this is my absolute no1 favourite thing on this planet after another watch. While objectively, sure it’s not perfect this film feels like it was made specifically for me.

The score is phenomenal. Whenever I’m outside at night I can’t help but always hear that theme in my head and it’s stuck his me since I first watched it. This is…

You know those films that you have seen so many times that you know pretty every line of dialogue off by heart? Well this is one of those films for me. It makes me cry just thinking of how perfect this film is and how something like this will absolutely never be made again this creative, funny and special. This film has so much heart and everybody involved is just having so much fun and I can’t put into words…

After watching this in cinemas in 70mm it is quite stupid to deny that this is some of the best that cinema has to offer. For the entirety of its runtime it proves how beautiful cinema can be. Just shot after shot of absolute beauty. It’s a shame that modern cinema is filled with high-budget action blockbusters that just doesn’t have any emotion or love. In other words, they…

The we all scream for ice cream thing is cemented in my memory because for some reason my dad repeatedly showed me that scene when I was a child and told him I wanted ice cream. Great time though. Roberto Benigni did a good job.

I don’t want to talk about this film too much because it gets pretty personal but I will say that this is one of the most beautifully made romance movies ever created and it’s probably Joaquins best performance. Please tell me why this didn’t win more oscars.

I thought for a while that Wes Anderson films were just not my thing from the other ones that I have seen but now I’m strongly questioning that because I really loved this.

This just feels like the perfect story for Wes Anderson for direct and I just loved every second. Bill Murray has been one of my favourite actors for a really long time and this is by FAR his best performance. Also the rest of the cast were…

“But sir, he’ll see the big board!”

I honestly think this is my favourite Stanley Kubrick film. While it may not shake me to my core like so many of his films do, this one just makes me laugh. And it’s comedy makes me laugh till it hurts while it’s. A really clever commentary about how stupid and silly nuclear weapons and war really is. But seriously I can watch this film over and over again and it will still be just as hilarious as the first time.

Its pretty easy to see why this is said to be one of the most important films of all time. This just broke my heart and I can’t believe I had not seen it before. Gregory Peck was simply incredible probably one of the greatest performances of all time and the film was I have to admit, a little bit slower than I thought it would be in the first half, but the film ultimately needed that slowness because at…

I see a lot of people comparing this and black swan to each other (black swan is better) and while that makes sense, the feeling that I get out of those films are very different from each other and I think the main characters are quite different in how they change. I know that was a bit random but I thought it was worth bringing up.

But yeah I love this film. It’s one of those infinitely re watchable films…

I didn’t even have over the moon expectations, but I genuinely wasn’t expecting to dislike it this much.

In my eyes, this was nothing more than glorification of upsetting and disturbing themes; war porn, if you will. I honestly just don’t see the appeal of mass murder and explosions, with no emotional connection behind it, other than, “this is so cool omg.” And I’m not even dissing people who like watching that kind of stuff. Sometimes you just want to…

This really got better as is went along for me. The initial hook was alright but for the first 30 mins or so I wasn’t overly interested but after that it just got better and better and then those last 20 minutes or so left me speechless. Seriously, this was really great.

The visuals and sound design were utterly superb and so was the lead performance from Natalie Portman who proves time and time again that she is one of…
