Wow I really don't know how to rate this film. It was extremely brutal and very disturbing. Most of the time it's very hard to watch. You feel so uneasy and empty during the entire thing. I was cringing during just about the entire thing.
Fassbender defines the word evil, seriously. His wife Sarah Paulson too. Chiwetel Ejiofor will definitely be up for Best Actor. Great performances all around.
12 Years A Slave is one of the best movies of the year. However, it's not one of my favorites for the reasons stated in my first few sentences.
