The Talented Mr. Ripley 1999
"I thought it was better to be a fake somebody than a real nobody."
A brilliant story with beautiful scenery and a twisted main character.
The performances in this are great, Matt Damon can do no wrong. I'm not usually the biggest fan of Gwyneth Paltrow but she was very good in this. I was thrown by Jude Law's American accent since I'm so used to hearing him with an English accent. Cate Blanchett is amazing as always of course. Philip Seymour Hoffman's delivery of "Tommy, how's the peeping" might be the greatest ever😭I can definitely see the similarities between this and Saltburn.

About Time 2013
"I'm not taking my pants off for Scotland!"
Perfect movie, though some of the time travel stuff made no sense this movie is so sweet and charming. I love it.

Anyone But You 2023
It's okay I guess. It was somewhat better than what I thought it would be, though my expectations were incredibly low.
The end credit montage is more fun and full of life than the entire movie.Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell have decent chemistry and the movie can be fun at times.

Two Weeks Notice 2002
"You make Gandhi look like a used car salesman."
Best moments are when Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant are just being bitchy with each other.

Wonka 2023
"May I present, Willy Wonka's wild and wonderful wishy washy Wonka Walker! Please, don't make me say that again."
I absolutely loved this. Despite how weird the first trailer for this looked I was still excited for this movie. Timothée Chalamet is brilliant at playing a very young and cheerful Willy Wonka, and is very charming. I was very surprised at how good his singing was. I loved most of the musical numbers, my favourite being between the opening (Hatful…

True Romance 1993
"So, we'd both fuck Elvis. It's nice to meet people with common interests, ain't it?"
-
The Nightmare Before Christmas 1993
"Just because I cannot see it, doesn't mean I can't believe it"
I will forever be obsessed with these songs.
Merry Christmas everyone🎄

The Family Stone 2005
"That's me and you, kid. Me and you."
Forget what I said in my last review I love this movie.

Love Actually 2003
Bill Nighy, Emma Thompson, Alan Rickman and Liam Neeson's storylines>>>> everything else.
Movie was funny and sweet at times but was also quite problematic and aged horrendously, did the word "fat" mean something else back in 2003 cause I didn't understand it here.
