I have such a love-hate relationship with this movie. At times it's very cute and enjoyable, but also very grating.
]]>"Why don't you run along and play with your chemistry set."
The scene with Snape, Sirius, and Lupin is one of the best scenes in the whole franchise.
That final shot never fails to make me laugh.
What the hell even is that, and why would they do
that😭
Great soundtrack, but I just never understood what the plot was, and I didn't like or care for any of the characters.

]]>Such a classic, and undoubtedly the best on screen adaptation of A Christmas Carol😌
I wasn't expecting to tear up during this, but the song at the end just makes me feel so happy.
]]>Rasputin might just be the biggest hater ever.
Can't believe I had never seen this until now. I love the songs and the animation style is beautiful.
A fun Christmas rom-com which I enjoyed more than I thought I would.
]]>Such a fun, cute, and sad movie that even has a horror element. I loved Melissa Barrera in this role, and Tommy Dewey was very likeable as the Monster.
The Monster's voice really caught me off guard. I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't that😭
That moment when Laura tears Jacob to shreds was so satisfying.
]]>"Hitler only had one ball"
Will never get tired of this movie. I just love the dynamic between Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe.
]]>Watched on Friday December 6, 2024.
]]>Just such a good and clever movie that I enjoyed even more on rewatch.
]]>They must have put crack into this movie because it has genuinely birthed an unhealthy obsession within me.
]]>"Pop, Six, Squish, uh-uh, Cicero, Lipschitz"
All movie musicals should aspire to be as incredible as this. The production of this is astounding, from the choreography to the costumes to the performances.
Cell Block Tango will never fail to blow my mind.
]]>A gripping story that explores morality and justice. Nicholas Hoult gives a very captivating performance and you can really feel the inner conflict of his character. I really loved Toni Collette's performance in this. I could watch her do this kind of role a hundred times and wouldn't get bored.
]]>It's just so fucking good.
Mike Faist really should have played Tony. Ansel Elgort isn't bad, he's just very miscast and bland compared to the rest of the cast.
Nobody:
Me every 5 minutes: AND GOODNESS KNOWS THE WICKED'S LIVES ARE LONELYYY
"Dobby is free!"
Definitely the weakest Harry Potter movie for me, but still pretty fun at times.
]]>"Red hair, and a hand-me-down robe. You must be a Weasley."
It's that time of year again 😌
]]>Jonathan Bailey almost had me questioning my sexuality in this. It should be illegal for someone to be that charming😭
]]>Audrey Hepburn was just so talented and incredible. I also really loved Cary Grant's performance in this.
Definitely a movie I would rewatch again.
]]>After seeing Wicked, I have no problem with Dorothy for crushing Nessarose with her house and stealing the slippers from her corpse😃

]]>"Pink goes good with green."🩷💚
This was absolutely amazing, and I had such a good time. Possibly my favourite movie-going experience in a while. Everything about this movie, from the acting to the choreography, and costumes, was simply outstanding.
Both leads shine equally. Cynthia Erivo is so fucking talented, her vocals are phenomenal, and her performance as Elphaba is powerful and heartbreaking. I felt so sad for the way she was treated and made to be a scapegoat. Ariana Grande is fantastic as Galinda. Obviously we know how well she can sing, and I know she started out as an actress, but her performance in this really surprised me. She was very charming, humorous and brought a lot of vulnerability to the role.
My favourite moment was probably the entirety of the Ozdust Ballroom, it was so tragic, and powerful and moving. There were so many moments like that throughout where I felt like I was going to tear up.
My only gripe is that the movie really should have ended 5 seconds earlier and you will know what I mean if you've seen it.
I'm so excited for Part 2 I just hate the fact it's not for another year😭
]]>"Toto, I have a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore."
Glinda is such a shit stirrer.
I am honestly so excited for Wicked. I have never seen the stage production🫣 but I just know I'm going to love it.
]]>Honestly still have no idea why Andrew stripped on the balcony.
]]>Brilliant movie, thrilling from start to finish, with incredible performances.
The Denzel and Tony Scott link up never misses
]]>"What's so great about discovery? It's a violent, penetrative act, that scars what it explores. What you call discovery, I call the rape of the natural world."
Ian Malcolm is the best character and it's not even close.
]]>I am such a slut for these kind of movies.
This was incredible and I just loved every minute of it. It's a slow burn, but I was completely hooked from the beginning. So engaging and thrilling, and everyone does such an amazing job.
"You ate him right up, and you licked the fucking plate!"
Venetia's bathtub monologue is the best scene in the whole movie for me. I feel like Alison Oliver's performance really went under the radar.
The second hand embarrassment when they're singing happy birthday, and no one knows his name🫣😭
]]>"Don't let me leave, Murph!"
Such an epic journey from start to finish.
]]>"Bowels in or bowels out?"
This was definitely not as bad as I was expecting. Yes it does not even come close to the predecessor, but it's still a very interesting and well made movie. It's also a lot more gorier than the original.
Anthony Hopkins is terrifying again as Hannibal Lecter. Julianne Moore does a good job as Clarice Starling, though it just felt weird not having Jodie Foster reprise the role. And Gary Oldman was so disgusting and grotesque in this, the makeup is very impressive just because of how creepy it is.
]]>"The loudest one in the room is the weakest one in the room."
This was so good, I really enjoyed this from start to finish. Despite having a long runtime I was engaged in the story the entire time. Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe are of course incredible here, but I also really enjoyed the performances from Ruby Dee and Josh Brolin.
]]>"I've killed for you, who else can say that."
This is so fucking good I love it.
]]>"Oswald Cobb. Man of the people."
Oh my god, this show, especially the finale is actually insane. And I loved every single minute of it. Colin Farrell as The Penguin is just incredible, this man is a straight up monster. He is weirdly, both a fun and charismatic character, but also very dark and horrifying, I didn't think Oz could shock me any more after what he did or didn't do to his mother, but then the final 20 minutes happened, Especially the ending scene with Eve, that was just disgusting.
I love Sofia Gigante. Cristin Milioti, for me, is the standout of the show, completely stealing every scene she is in. Episode 4 ( Cent'anni) is by far my favourite episode of the show, mostly because her performance is just so fucking good and heartbreaking, (and that yellow dress🥵) and I love that we got a great, interesting backstory for Sofia. While, I'm glad Sofia wasn't killed off, her fate is almost worse by going back to Arkham. I do hope something happens down the road with Catwoman and Sofia after that tease.
I hope Batman beats the shit out of Penguin. I can't believe we have to wait 2 years for The Batman Part II, give it to me now😭.
]]>I really like this, I don't care. Bite me.
]]>Ariane Labed is such an icon for that forrest dance😭
]]>"The other night, two hours you spent talking to me about the things you found in your little donkey's shite that day. Two hours Pádraic. I timed it."
"Well, it wasn't me little donkey's shite, was it? It was me pony's shite, which shows how much you were listening."
I forgot how good this was.
Colin Farrell really should have won the Oscar.
Best of the franchise, I love it.
That scene where Katniss reveals the mockingjay dress is just perfect.
Definitely not as bad as I anticipated.
I feel that some of the negative reviews are a bit over the top, especially regarding the ending. Did anyone actually believe this man was The Joker😭
The performances are all very good, Joaquin Phoenix is incredible as usual. It's concerning that he lost all that weight again. Going into this film, especially after seeing all the trailers and marketing, I expected Lady Gaga to have a leading role, but she felt more like a side character. While she was fantastic whenever she was on screen, I just wish she had more time to shine.
My main issue with the movie is the blend of the 'musical' aspects and the courtroom drama narrative. Personally, I really enjoyed the music in this, though I definitely wouldn't call it a musical. Initially, when it was announced I thought this was going to be a dark romance musical with Joker and Harley set in Arkham. I'm a little disappointed it wasn't, but I still enjoyed the whole courtroom drama surrounding Arthur Fleck.
Also, where the fuck was This Lady Gaga scene in the entire movie, I was looking forward to it and we only got a shorter version.
]]>The scariest movie of the year. This is literally a horror movie that depicts a real life monster, and Sebastian Stan does an incredible job. It's insane how well he plays this part. The mannerisms and the way he talks is just so accurate.
Jeremy Strong really stole the show here though, and I would really love to see him receive a best supporting actor nomination.
]]>I'm no expert in cake decorating, but I'm pretty sure rock disguises and camouflage aren't part of the job. Could he not have hidden in a bush or something😭
]]>This movie is so sad, but I really loved it. It just felt so real and intimate. Elizabeth Olsen, Carrie Coon and Natasha Lyonne are all incredible.
At times, it felt almost like a theatre production at times which I loved.
Definitely one of my new favourites of the year, featuring some of my favourite performances too.
]]>Not as bad as I thought it would be.
The performances were good, with some touching and emotional moments, but I felt the execution could have been better.
The soundtrack was great too!
]]>"I knew a man who once said death smiles at us all. All a man can do is smile back"
I am so excited and ready for Gladiator II, it can't come soon enough.

]]>"You tore up her picture."
"I'm gonna tear up the fucking dance floor, dude. Check it out"
Oscar Isaac was so fucking good here, and that dance scene was just random and unexpected😭.
Alicia Vikander was brilliant in this, and I was glad that Ava had a more positive ending. I did feel sorry for Caleb a little bit though. He was a very morally grey character, but I don't think he deserved that ending, although he was thinking with his dick instead of his brain.
Can't believe it's taken me so long to watch this, as I knew I would enjoy it and it has been on my watchlist for a while.
Thank you to Soph for the recommendation, it was worth it.
]]>Yeah, that after credits scene is never going to lead to anything😭
I was not expecting myself to feel sad while watching a Venom movie, but yeah that ending was kind of emotional.
The story is as bad as you'd expect, but I still had a pretty good time as it's just so entertaining and silly. I'm happy with this being a conclusion to Tom Hardy's Venom. It's a shame we never saw him interact with a Spider-Man, but I'm not even sure how that would have worked.
Hopefully after Kraven, Sony will be done with these horrific Spider-Man villain spin offs, though I very much doubt that.
]]>Interesting premise, but it feels dull and predictable at times.
Jessica Chastain and Anne Hathaway are great as always. The best moments are when the two are on screen together, as they have amazing chemistry, and there is a lot of tension between them. Hathaway is particularly creepy and unsettling in this.
]]>"Thursday, October 31st. The city streets are crowded for the holiday. Even with the rain. Hidden in the chaos is the element waiting to strike like snakes. But I'm there too. Watching."
Just inject it into my veins

There has simply never been a better way to describe Jack Skellington😭
