    "The definition of a truly beautiful doll is a flesh and blood body devoid of a soul."

    Haunted desirous bodies, animal machine, human trafficking, innocence as symbiotic relations of feeling, playing dead, hacking as possession, necromancy, beauty as more-than-human and innocence as feminine desirability. Batou's relationship to his dog is so pronounced in this, weird kinships and tangled conflicts of who can be regarded 'killable' underline the haunted nihilism of 'Innocence'.     Despite Rosa Von Praunheim's cis gaze fascination of trans sex and surgery which eventually unravels, the film is really beautiful document and has such wide range of different forms of 'trans' life. Gives me strength, love our transcestors ♡ I blow them each a kiss to send back the power to keep existing
