How did I ever miss this holiday gift?!?! A few of Santa’s reindeer slay here: Vixen, Blitzen, and Slasher. One of the early final girl films; a 70s horror that remains fresh. We have a bevy of Pi Kappas murdered, skewed camera angles and a creep in the sorority attic. Hussey is the icing on this Yuletide treat. I loved the open ended finale like the last unopened sinister gift tucked far under the 🎄.
My go to film when i need to chill. Goldsworthy's performance art connects me to nature's cycle of creation and destruction. Beauty is everywhere, a siren's song in shape, and color and motion. If you crave mother earth's gentle rhythm and caress, watch this. One of my all time favs.
Self-inflicted wound. This is a mean-spirited haggis bag of a movie. You know it will be disgusting but you still consume it and discover that is in fact nauseating and repugnant.
Happiest I have been leaving a theater in ages. Laughing. Nauseated. Repulsed. Tit-ilated. Popcorn-stuffed. What a great horror film! Audience participation of giggles, groans, gags and walkouts says it all!! If gore is your game, you MUST see this on the big screen. Kick me next Margaret Qualley! Me! Me!
C’mon. Be honest. This movie sucks. Nic Cage at his self-indulgent worst. A wannabe agent Starling. FBI that only investigate at night. Occult mumbo jumbo with no logical cohesion. Gratuitous snakes?!?! Really? And no jump scares. None. Two stars for popcorn with M&Ms
