Whoa, this is actually a real psychosomatic condition: hallucinating when looking at beauty…or me, watching Asia Argento. 😵‍💫🤤. The great: Morricone score, Asia, the trippy tripping into paintings and other LSDish moments, trauma induced amnesia, and damage from SA. The so-so: a bit chubby in the midsection. I really enjoyed the art theme, gore and hallucinogenic style. 🖼️ 🇮🇹❤️

Ever had one of those movies that you struggle to get through and it blocks watching others? This is one for me. Three days to make it through this 90 minutes of bleakness. I adore Ki-Duk movies but this was a slog. So devoid of passion or compassion or his usual flicker of mysticism. Just bad people. Doing bad things. In a cycle of pain. I need more than that.

C’mon. Be honest. This movie sucks. Nic Cage at his self-indulgent worst. A wannabe agent Starling. FBI that only investigate at night. Occult mumbo jumbo with no logical cohesion. Gratuitous snakes?!?! Really? And no jump scares. None. Two stars for popcorn with M&Ms
