Let’s talk Oscar nominations!
I’m happy with the nominees this year, I was hoping that Spider-Verse would at least get nominated for Best Picture, but life isn’t always fair. This is also the first time that I’ve seen every Best Picture nominee and when it comes to what I think should win, I’m putting my money on Oppenheimer, Poor Things or Killers of the Flower Moon. I am also willing to bet my entire life savings that Spider-Verse will win Best Animated Feature, but I also wouldn’t be surprised if it went to The Boy and the Heron instead. It made me sad to see Greta Gerwig, Zac Efron, Margot Robbie and Leonardo DiCaprio all get snubbed. I was also hoping to see Wonka and The Iron Claw get nominated for something, and I was kind of let down that they got nothing. I liked this year’s nominees and I am very excited to see who and what will win. Let me know your predictions in the comments below!
