It’s not hard to do the detective work along the way to get to the end result, but I thoroughly enjoyed the journey!
Religion based horror is alive and well this year and this to me, has to be at the top. I wish I had my watch on to catch my heart rate because I could feel it coming out of my chest due to the framing of scenes. Seeing the open space around Lee while she was distracted had an air of something is coming… jump scare edging one might say.
Maika Monroe the talent that you are. BLAIR UNDERWOOD THE TALENT THAT YOU ARE!!! I think this is one of my more appreciated roles of Nic Cage.
I may have to say… the full theater took away from my experience? I’d give this another go… maybe…
Jumps from fright: 5, and I’m including the time that a patron was literally just returning back to the theater and walked across and it scared me
HE GON GET MEEEEEEEEEEE 😭😭😭😭
Edit: movie bumped up to a 4.5 bc I can’t stop thinking about one of Blair Underwood’s lines in the end of the movie
