Thought I would try something outside my comfort zone, being my first real introduction to body horror. While disgusting, the practical effects and acting in this is top notch. Really need to check out some more Cronenberg because this was absolutely brilliant

Haven't seen this in ages. Way more sadistic then the first one lol. Curry and Schneider are great as always. This one for me is way funnier although I enjoy the story from 1 more.

If I hear anyone say that Scorsese has no range and can only do gangster movies Ill show them this one. Also, what is it with me and unintentionally picking movies with the cast of Home alone? Lol. Heard and Ohara absolutely kill in their small roles. Dunne as well plays the frenetic, anxious character super well and I cant tell if I'm meant to hate him or feel sorry for him.

Where to begin lmao.
For the first half an hour I was completely lost. Didn't really know what I was watching.
Once I knew what I was watching and the symbolism and meaning, I was in. The brilliant genius of a director via a slog of production.
Times felt lynchian and time felt very much like malick as well. The visuals and the atmosphere, and man on man the dichotomy of some of the design and lighting plan was excellent.…

I hate this movie so much. It has no soul or passion. The acting is bland, the story is uninspired. Its like if they took dead poets society and made it shit and at Christmas. The characters are lifeless and boring and the story is all over the place. Nothing about this movie is redeemable besides maybe some small clapped hands to Giamatti who does what he can with an absolute mess of a script.
The look of the film is kinda cool ig but thats about it, dont know what everyone is smoking but this film is the big snooze.
