    Absolutely incredible in all the ways, I said “hell yea” at least a 100 times. Dev Patel gonna go down in the books as a GOAT. 

    Bummed I missed out watching this in the theater while I was working in Montana over the summer (12 hour days on set make you miss out too much on life), glad JP fought to give it a theatrical release. Will probably bump to 4.5 on rewatch

    Honestly was dreading watching this since the first one made an impact on me at a young age, but was honestly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. When it tries to do callbacks and imitate the first one it’s cringey, but when it tries to be its own thing it’s pretty good. 

    Acting was really good overall, story alright, fight scenes awesome. Denzel always gonna be that mf. His press tour for this film has been gold. 

    Definitely will rewatch down the road, could bump to a 4 if I can get past the cringe callbacks.
