Lanthimos' work makes you feel disturbed and confused but at the same time it's so rich and full of meaning that you can't help but think about it and want to figure out what the heck it meant even though you'll probably never know.
What I'm trying to say is goddamn was this weird af but I still like it and want to put together this tiny but inmense puzzle.
Probably not making any sense because I had the worst headache ever today and I'm tired as heck but hey, it's fitting!

Hey! Enjoyed this for the most part, even if it is tremendously cheesy and incredibly implausible.
The character decisions were probably the biggest flaw for me but otherwise it was a solid, entertaining thriller that was sufficiently tense for me to care at least a bit throughout. Also, Idris Elba absolutely carries this movie from start to finish.
Not a bad movie, not really a good one either, just entertaining and cheesy enough.
