UPDATE:
I just finished season 1, and I get the hype now. This show is something else. The characters are amazing, seriously. Cooper is the goat, and I think I might be stealing his personality in the near future. It’s 6 AM, and I should probably sleep, but all I want to do is start Season 2. There is a lot more I want to say, but so far, I love Twin Peaks.

I watched the 1-hour-and-24-minute version, not the standalone European version with the alternate, closed ending (apparently made for VHS). Should I check that one out too? Or is it meant to be skipped if you're diving into the series? I’m a little confused since most reviews here seem to cover either the series’ pilot or the full two seasons, but the standalone version is its own thing and seems less popular.
