    Did the world really need more Hunger Games? I'm not sure, but The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes was better than I expected it to be. I didn't necessarily needed to see how Coriolanus Snow became the evil dictator of The Hunger Games, but what Francis Lawrence did with this film, is pretty decently executed.

    Better than I was expecting from an American remake of an European film. It follows the original pretty close but goes for a more Hollywood ending, that whilst fun, doesn't have the harrowing impact of the ending of the original. McAvoy is great however and is pretty much the embodiment of toxic masculinity and is incredibly threatening and menacing. So, better than expected.

    I can see how people could be dissapointed after seeing Thor: Love and Thunder. If you're expecting a traditional Marvel action adventure movie, this ain't it. Love and Thunder is very much a Taika Waititi film, meaning that it's a full blown and very silly comedy that has some action in it.
