Extremadamente hilarante y carreada por sus grandes performances, Crowe y Gosling relucen un lado interpretativo de ellos no visto antes y que sorprende mucho.

Quiero hablar un poco más en profundidad acerca de Ryan, porque a mí parecer, es la estrella de la película y el que se roba todo el show, muy por encima de la trama o de cualquier otro apartado técnico, acá Gosling cómo dije anteriormente, muestra una faceta suya no tan conocida, estamos acostumbrados a verlo en roles de personajes más serios que me hicieron dudar de si serviría mucho para un rol comedico pero vaya que estaba equivocado. Su dupla junto con Russell es tan cohesiva que generan un aura muy gratificante.

Pero tampoco me parece una gran película dejando de lado las performances y el humor, el guion es simple con plot twist en su mayoría esperados y un 3er acto muy fantasioso que peca mucho de clichés del género de acción.

Extremely hilarious and driven by their great performances, Crowe and Gosling shine an interpretative side of them not seen before and that surprises a lot.

I want to talk a little more in depth about Ryan, because in my opinion, he is the star of the film and the one who steals the show, far above the plot or any other technical aspect, here Gosling as I said before, shows a side of him not so well known, we are used to see him in more serious character roles that made me doubt if he would serve much for a comedic role but boy was I wrong. His duo with Russell is so cohesive that they generate a very gratifying aura.

But I don't think it's a great movie either, leaving aside the performances and the humor, the script is simple with mostly expected plot twists and a very fanciful 3rd act that suffers a lot from action genre clichés.
