Now, this is what I needed after watching Synecdoche, New York. The story is very engaging, the cinematography is great, the musical score is fantastic, there are some surprising twists in the film that caught me off guard, the humor is really effective and hilarious, and the acting is stellar from everyone especially from Russel Crowe and Ryan Gosling who are both the best part of the film. Some of the funniest parts of the film are just listening to them work off each other and they have great chemistry which makes it better. As a whole, if you haven't seen this film please go and watch it because it truly is amazing and one of the best comedies that I've seen recently. Also, I am glad that this film is getting more attention because it wasn't a hit when it came out and that's a shame because it truly deserves more than what it got.
