Jesse Eisenberg really hit the nail on the head with this one. The story is simple, yet carries a lot of weight.
The chemistry of these two characters was so interesting to watch and both leads did a great job portraying them.
The character of Benji is such a great portrayal of how pain is often times masked. He masks his pain with humor, charisma, spontaneity. He also exudes so much wonder and curiosity thats almost childlike.

Well, I do have to say that I was skeptical at first hearing that Chalamet was playing this role.
Being a big Bob Dylan fan, I was worried that it would be hard for me to see the character as the man himself, rather than one of the biggest stars working in Hollywood right now trying to do a decent impression.

This was excellent. I absolutely love the gothic world that was created here and the set design, lighting, composition and camera movement was STUNNING.
I’m always a sucker for symmetry in the composition of shots, and this was so well done. And the camera moves so eerily slow at times, which I love.
