Kind of have no idea what to say. It's fucked up, of course it's fucked up. Very good movie, though-it's Wong Kar-Wai-of course it's good. I can't say that I really enjoy the idea of queer suffering, but it's certainly an aspect of life that will always be there. They didn't have a choice to live apart until they were forced to. Maybe there is no happiness until you visit the waterfall, no, until you visit the lighthouse. I don't think I can ever be fully proud of who I am, but I am who I am.
