    I've a feeling this film will go misunderstood by many.

    And by those, I mean the ones who go in expecting this to be another Call Me By Your Name because this couldn't be further from Guadagnino's 2017 coming-of-age romance masterpiece.

    It's bizarre, unsettling, and it's great to see the horror genre take more risks even though not all of Cuckoo's work.

    The third act is a total mess but Hunter Schafer, echoing the likes of Jodie Foster and Sigourney Weaver, keeps you involved.

    A spectacularly shite masterpiece. It's a particularly awful but oddly well made piece of filmmaking, the likes of which will probably never be seen again. A singular, strange, but facinating film by the late Joel Schumacher that will discussed and dissed for eons to come.

    Here are my favourite bits:

    1. Alicia Silverstone handles the dialogue like English is her third language.
    2. Uma Thurman having the sex appeal of Jimmy Saville visiting a children's hospital ward.

    What the fuck did I just watch?

    CGI sperm. A doll with a gender-identity crisis voiced by a hobbit. Jennifer Tilly's voice. Glastonbury. Jennifer Tilly being inseminated with Chucky's sperm. Some S-Club-7 nobody getting her face torched off. John Waters! Redman directing a film about the Virgin Mary and struggling with the English language. Chucky murdering Britney Spears - "Oops, I did it again!"

    And, my favourite line: "Screaming? Oh no, I'm just watching 'Bound' and Gina Gershon just stuck her finger in me."

    Fucking hilarious.
