Great movie that was better than i thought it would be. 8/10.
The voices were good and i liked most of the characters.
Visually for the most part it was very good even though at times it was different than what viewers have seen in the past. Meaning its a mix of styles. One of my small negative comments would be that the unfocussed backgrounds were something i didnt like. But i was glad it was only used a small amount of times.
Overall the music was good. There are some modern songs mixed with instrumental pieces. One or two songs i didnt really enjoy but it didnt bother me too much.
The story was good. I was hoping it would be but i was cautiously optomistic because it was going to be different than some of the source material. I might have liked it better if it was just based on one of the spiderverse stories but it turned out good anyways.
I didnt think to much about whether i would like the humor in this. It had some very funny moments. I found myself laughing out loud about 6 to 8 times. The audience i was in loved it too. There was just enough in here as to not seem over done. Most of the other funny parts i was at least smiling so thats a good thing too.
Generally i think this was a great success. In my personal opinion Dc and WB have done many more "good" annimated films as compared to Marvel. Glad to see this one was done so well.
