I loved seeing Andrea Arnold be more playful with this one. Also felt like this was her love letter to birds (which I am also obsessed with!!). I feel like showing cell phones/text messaging, etc. in film can be hard to pull off creatively, so I was intrigued by how she decided to portray technology in this one - it was subtle, but I think important to show the sign of the times! Fish Tank will forever be my favorite or hers, but I appreciated this one and enjoyed all of the nods to nature!! 🌝🐦‍⬛🫶
