OH MY GOD!! this is why we fucking make movies. everything from the sound design to the costumes to the sweeping score were perfect. Ariana was born for that role and Cynthia sang her heart out. will admit i cried during a few numbers specifically Defying Gravity. that whole end number had me levitating off my seat and bursting with joy. the dynamic between Elphaba and Glinda was so perfect i could watch just them for hours. the songs were…
