◽ The buzz generated by The Substance, as well as its award for Best Screenplay at Cannes, is more than deserved. We are looking at one of the best films of the year so far; brilliant in its portrayal of Hollywood's problem with the simple fact that women age, terrifying in the anguish of its premise and body horror, and even funny in its satirical parts.

◽ El ruido que ha generado La Sustancia, así como su premio al mejor guion en Cannes, es más que merecido. Estamos ante una de las mejores películas de lo que llevamos de año; brillante en su retrato del problema de Hollywood con el simple hecho de que las mujeres envejezcan, terrorífica en la angustia de su planteamiento y su terror corporal, y hasta graciosa en su parte satírica.
