14th watch. i cannot put into words how much i love this movie, it makes me cry every single time. everything about it is so perfect, the acting, the cinematography, the writing, the score, all of it. damien chazelle truly is the best filmmaker alive and we do not deserve him or his art, yet he keeps blessing us with it. my two favourite actors, my favourite director, my favourite composer, my favourite movie. 
justin hurwitz is the god of music every single song on this soundtrack is so beautiful and amazing i can listen to all of them endlessly on repeat. 
i love all the references to the old movies and i truly wish more directors made movies like this now. 
perfection.
