Stepan: Dear mother, father, sisters and brothers! The happiness of our reunion is immeasurable. The heart of every Soviet citizen is filled with joy. Joy sings in our hearts. It is victory that has brought us this joy. We have all waited for this moment. But we shall not forget those left behind on the battlefield. Time will pass. Towns and villages will be rebuilt. Our wounds will heal. But our fierce hatred of war will never diminish. We share…

Well, you think about it Ethan, it was inevitable. No more cold war. No more secrets you keep from yourself. Answer to no one but yourself. Then, you wake up one morning and find out the President is running the country without your permission. The son of a bitch, how dare he. Then you realize, it's over. You are an obsolete peice of hardware, not worth upgrading, you got a lousy marriage, and 62 grand a year.

Paul Atreides: May thy knife chip and shatter.

Speechless, just speechless... This is will go down in history as one of the best cinematic experiences of our generation.
Director Denis Villeneuve keep killing it with his movies, & Dune part two is probably my favorite so far. The amazing music by Hans, the jaw dropping cinematography by Greig Fraser showing us the epic scale of Dune, & don't forget the beautiful performances -Stilgar best boy-, everything felt right in the continuation of Paul's story.
Now we await for Dune Messiah, as written!

A cool short about mental health & the need to seek help from the people close to us.
Cool animation as always, they didn't go crazy with different styles as usual but it's understandable considering this is a short with constrained budget. I enjoyed it, go watch it for free on YouTube.

Nux: Oh, what a day... what a lovely day!

Is this what sex feels like? Holy shit what a ride! This film will go down in history as one of the greatest action movies of all time, no brakes, just freaking adrenaline over & over again, no dialogue needed, just pure insanity.
Tom & Charlize killed it with their acting, every grunt, every stare, every movement was perfection.
And the visuals?! HOW?? the cinematography, the directing, the editing, everything is 10/10. The storm scene? I want to see how did they do it. This is one of the greats, don't sleep on it.

    Léon: Stansfield?
    Stansfield: At your service.
Léon: [handing him something] This is from... Mathilda.
Stansfield: [sees that it's a pin for a grenade] Shit.

I always loved this movie, Reno was always that badass hitman, getting up close to his targets, moving in & out of shadows. Oldman giving us one of the most iconic villains of all time with his performance. & Portman acting her heart out, breaking through to Hollywood.
But let's talk about the big elephant in the room…

Rick Deckard: Rachael. Her name was Rachael.

Sequel to the 1982's cult classic & the second film I watched to Denis Villeneuve (Dune was my first), & I gotta say: I really love this director.
This movie is masterfully shot & cyberpunk LA city never looked this beautiful... The cinematography & visual effect are so amazing you can frame every shot from this movie on ur wall.
I think the first movie dealt better with the question of humanity & what make us: us, but…

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Lance Corporal Blake: [Schofield and Blake are in the underground German billet] Bloody hell! Even their rats are bigger than ours.

I'm so glad this movie won the Oscars for "Best Cinematography" cause damn, the one shot -technically two shot- filming was immaculate... this movie is a technical masterpiece.
Sure the premise is simple, but it was elevated by directing & cinematography, crossing no man's land, the airplane hitting the barn & that amazing night scenes in the village. Simply amazing. Really good film.

Dae-su Oh: Laugh and the world laughs with you. Weep and you weep alone.

Man what a ride, I'm speechless, I remember reading the manga 15 years ago, but I only remembered the premise, & I'm glad I did, cause oh boy I wasn't ready for that twist in the end.
Choi Min-sik acted out of his mind portraying Dae-su, he perfectly embodied the persona of man detached from the society around him, only lead by his instincts & one goal: revenge.…

Cobb: What is the most resilient parasite? Bacteria? A virus? An intestinal worm? An idea. Resilient... highly contagious. Once an idea has taken hold of the brain it's almost impossible to eradicate. An idea that is fully formed - fully understood - that sticks; right in there somewhere.

Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. The idea of this movie wasn't new to me, cause I watched Paprika (2006) by the legendary Satoshi Kon ages ago, but I never imagined that movie to work…

Max: The chain in those handcuffs is high-tensile steel. It'd take you ten minutes to hack through it with this. Now, if you're lucky, you could hack through your ankle in five minutes. Go.

Man, this film really doesn't hold up at all, I know the small budget didn't help & it was the debut of both George Miller as a director & Mel Gibson as an actor, but the depiction of post-apocalypse Australia is so funny for me, just normal people…

Michael: My father is no different than any powerful man, any man with power, like a president or senator.
Kay Adams: Do you know how naive you sound, Michael? Presidents and senators don't have men killed.
Michael: Oh. Who's being naive, Kay?

ONE OF THE GREATS. This film is easily top 10 (maybe top 3) in my book, & nothing can come close. Show me more iconic scene than the end when someone closes the door on Kay while she watch…
