Max: The chain in those handcuffs is high-tensile steel. It'd take you ten minutes to hack through it with this. Now, if you're lucky, you could hack through your ankle in five minutes. Go.
Man, this film really doesn't hold up at all, I know the small budget didn't help & it was the debut of both George Miller as a director & Mel Gibson as an actor, but the depiction of post-apocalypse Australia is so funny for me, just normal people spending their lives, eating in diners, & oh there's one crazy bike gang of 10 people terrorizing the whole nation, & no one want to stop them. I know this movie is what lead the way to Fury road, but you really don't have to watch, just watch Fury road instead.
