The story is already meaningful and relevant for its hopeful (yet brutally realistic) outlook on the everyday struggle to achieve one’s dreams. But uphold that narrative with fantastic cinematography, award-worthy acting, and incredible musical numbers among other things, and you get one of the year’s best movies.
