Watched with my family. My sister's always hated it and liked it a tiny bit more but still kinda hates it.
Not a huge fan of Gosling's performance and I think the movie feels mostly composed of long montages with great visual storytelling but sometimes makes me wanting to see a lot more talking bits, you know what I mean? Anyway, besides those things this movie is phenomenal. It's flawed but it's so special. So profound and beautiful that doesn't need to be slow and pretentious in order to get its point across. Instead it's entertaining from beginning to end with a gorgeous visual flair and one of my favorite lead performances of all-time from Emma Stone. This one just gets better and better for me. A flawed masterpiece.
