Horror needs to learn that showing and not telling is the most important thing you can do in the genre (through the entire runtime).

Longlegs is aesthetically pleasing and mostly creepy but really loses itself in the last 1/3 of its runtime.

If I want to be uncomfortable I can go on public transit and experience more fright over the course of 3 stops than that last 30 minutes here.
