“i never thought i'd be able to do any of this stuff. but i can. anyone can wear the mask. you can wear the mask.
…
if you didn't know that before, i hope you do now. cuz i'm spider-man. and i'm not the only one. not by a long shot.”
he is the most influential, inspiring, famous, friendly hero of our neighborhood of all time. my dear SPIDERMAN, who is tactless, funny, entertaining and whose origin story is both sad and full of epic fights and adventures.
one of the coolest of my childhood and role model heroes. you are my favorite in all alternative universes, you can be sure of that and you’ll always remain that way…
the MCU and Sony have always given us Peter Parker's origin story and what he's experienced in the comics or the fictional world. as someone who has read Marvel and mostly Spiderman comics for a long time, i read a lot of spidey's life stories and my head was covered with spider webs. i had just met Miles Morales when this movie was released. since they always told us about Peter Parker, i knew everything from beginning to end. they always made us watch who his enemies were, spideys in other universes and his private life, so i was very excited that a new face, a new origin story would be brought to the screens.
the MCU was also determined to get into the business of parallel universes and dimensions, and the title of the movie was very promising. they were promising us fans a Spider-Verse, and maybe it would be a movie series. these productions would even be in the form of computer animation. it sounded like a great idea and a dreamy, comic book-esque visual party. the it really happened. the result was a masterpiece that broke records at the box office, gave much more to Spiderman and even Marvel fans, and gave Spider-Verse, which had been planned to be realized for years.
this is so spectacular that all the writing styles, use of visual effects, Spiderman costumes, villians, everything you can think of related to Spiderman was very comical. the movie made me feel like i was reading a Miles Morales or Spider-Verse comic book. i got what i wanted from top to bottom. soundtracks and character motivations complemented each other. i believe that the soundtrack production team of this series was chosen with kindness, because damn it. (Sunflower listener from the day one.)
the whole aesthetic, vibe and Miles Morales was so Spiderman, this was more intense than Peter Parker’s movies we’ve had in the past. fuck you Miles you beat me again.
you can see me rewatching this movie and its sequel here. the best spider man adaptation and narration of all time, argue with a wall if you disagree with me. even though it's not greatest, it's definitely great.
guys, don’t forget to remember this, with great power comes great responsibility…
