How much would you charge to beat up my friend Janet?
A movie that takes some good chemistry between Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling and Gosling's pitch perfect comedic timing and turns it into a moral tale that's more interested in gun fights and a winding plot than making you laugh.
Gosling is so good in this movie it's astounding. He plays frightened so well and his deliveries are always spot on. This movie needs more Margaret Qualley, an actor who I have so much stock in right now. She's the most important character in the movie and she's unceremoniously gone.
Needs to lean more into Crowe and Gosling as partners than some pollution corruption story that doesn't really make much sense. Detroit?
