    This was on my watchlist for ages and I just kept putting off watching it, and now I see for good reason.

    Firstly, I want to start a petition for actors to stop attempting accents, it’s becoming borderline racist at this point. Alan Ritchson, Hero Fiennes - both to prison, please. Potentially Henry Cavill for the part at the start. 

    Secondly, this was boring. And again, I might add, probably borderline racist. Any person that got killed and/or seriously maimed was either non-white or non-British.

    Anyway, a cheap, poorly scripted, badly paced Inglorious Bastards.

    I probably wanted to like this more than I did and maybe my expectations were too high. The film had excellent cinematography and there was a great use of imagery throughout with expertly crafted frames emphasising relationships and setting which I found impressive. The sound throughout the movie created the tension, drama and atmosphere in turn carrying the film somewhat. The cadence, reverb and pacing of Skarsgård speech as Count Orlok was brilliantly chilling and unnerving.
