Cannot beat the scene where Marv is being electrocuted. Cinema peaked then.

The first half of this movie was great. I thought it was really faced paced with good story/protagonist building. It included a lot of action, symbolism and developed a vivid, seedy and identifiable setting for it all to take place. I was really enjoying it up until he fell into the river which lead to…

The second half of this movie. Apart from some aspects, it seemed so irrelevant and elongated the movie to a time frame that wasn’t necessary.…

Relevant and apt to society’s current plight. Well done. But maybe some of the chosen actors weren’t the best to convey this though?

A bit too long with a couple of unnecessary bits thrown around etc… No real need or purpose for the White Supremacist group, better writing could have reduced that and made a better film. Also, to use Christmas as a conduit for that… makes me sick.

It had a good balance throughout though. Good action, drama, comedy and message. Some cool and intriguing shots. The car chase towards the end had me feeling road sick in the way it was filmed. Nicely done.
