I’ll be honest—I’m not usually a fan of vampire movies. The genre just doesn’t do it for me. This movie was on another level—it pulls you in, scene after scene. And the sound design? Oh, someone definitely got the memo on ASMR because every drink, whisper, and drip crawls under your skin in the best way. By the end, Nestrafu didn’t just entertain me—it completely sucked me into its strange and beautifully colorless world.

Love Lies Bleeding 2024
An A24 fan who loved Love Lies Bleeding? Shocker! Of course I liked it—I'm their target audience: brooding, introspective, and one bad day away from buying a typewriter. And this is peak A24: equal parts “artsy genius” and “what the hell am I watching?” If you wanted action, go watch a Marvel movie like the peasants. This is cinema with a capital C.

Apocalypse Clown 2023
It’s absurd and somehow manages get a handful of good laughs—mostly thanks to one MVP: Funzo the Clown.

Joker: Folie à Deux 2024
Visually, the movie is stunning—dark, gritty, and twisted. Cinematography, set design and costumes all deserve a gold statue. But…if the first Joker was a gritty origin story, this sequel feels like what happens when you take all that trauma, drag it out at a snail’s pace, throw in an unnecessary splash of Broadway, and snort it like Gotham City cocaine during the film’s final twelve minutes.
