For me yes it's the worst Paddington film,But does that matter? Not really....The first 2 Paddington Films are Masterpieces IMO. I can really appreciate the direction that Dougal Wilson took with Paddington in peru,It does have Heart,Charm and it's a fun Adventure! I had a great time with this,I was however left with feeling some emptiness at times with the script, the jokes was Meh at times...It just didn't fully have that magic touch that Paul King Brought in the first 2 installments.
Btw,I love the addition of Olivia Colman and Antonio Banderas ❤️
Gene Hackman standing at the end of the bridge is such an Iconic Shot,It's a shame that I had this at 4.5 stars on first watch...This film doesn't have any flaws whatsoever...it's officially my Greatest cop film of all time! It's been 54 years since it's release,no wonder why it still stands the test of time...Winner of 5 academy awards....Picture,Director,Actor,Screenplay and Editing,The French Connection is a Timeless Masterpiece! Rest in Peace Gene Hackman and Roy Schneider 😥
It's just okay,I didn't hate that I watched it....however I'll forget about it in no time. The characters are Meh,the screenplay is horrendous,The plot at times did keep me engaged though. The concept for me is slightly my cup of tea,it just wasn't executed well.
Oh my Goodness, this movie is Incredible! Tony Scott made some Epic Films, the passing of Gene Hackman made me want to explore more of His filmography and Wow! The Scene with Denzel and Gene Hackman is a Hell of a moment,Crimson Tide is an on the edge of your Seat Torpedo from start to finish!
This is the 2nd best submarine film I've ever seen (Only behind Das Boot) Hopefully we will get another one someday🤞
Make no mistake, this is a 2025 film...It Premiered at Fantasia Film festival, however it didn't get a wide release on Shudder until Valentine's Day.
The Dead Thing has hardly no direction whatsoever,it was redundant to the fullest...You keep thinking that something is going to happen, tick tock..tick tock and yeah nothing happens that's memorable. It's soulless. Some of the work by the director is the highlight, but that's the only high point.
The fact that I had never seen this is an Utter Joke, this is one of the best sports films of all time. We lost an Icon this week,Gene hackman to me is one of the top 15 greatest actors of all time,He just had a bravada about him and screen presence that was just unmatched...Love the Addition of the late great Dennis hopper as well 💯
This will most certainly not be for everybody, however it was for me...I was emotionally invested! I'm not comparing this to A24's A ghost Story, but if you're a fan of that film...I think you will enjoy this,no I'm not saying it's as Masterful of a Film whatsoever as a Ghost Story or the exact same Concept...But it Ventures into the realm of that type of Filmmaking. Now nothing is superb about it,but I believe it's a an Average/Above average film across the board!
Small Spoiler Alert:It's not Scary,Just my opinion
You can Literally Watch this on Vudu Fandango for free (With Ads) Never even heard of it,so glad I found it...it's a classic revenge story that has such a different style,It's brutal and intriguing every Minute!
Elon Musk doesn't need to see this film or does he? 😂 I came into Companion knowing very Little and was pleasantly surprised, such an original film...It is entertaining from start to finish, has cool effects..An intriguing Screenplay that keeps you engaged For the entire 97 mins,it's just a grand time! Watch it ASAP! Officially my best film of 2025 So far!
