For such a classic Christmas movie it barely qualifies. Other than Jimmy Stewart sprinting down main street yelling Merry Christmas to the Building & Loan there’s not much in that regard
This concludes my mini-run of live-action Christmas ‘oldies’ (the others being Miracle on 34th, Black Christmas, and A Christmas Story), and I gotta say I had higher hopes for this one. I love Jimmy Stewart and it was my first Frank Capra and I think I set my expectations too high. It’s counterpart, Miracle, certainly met them though so I don’t feel too bad not loving this!
