I Saw the TV Glow 2024

Finally got the courage to rewatch this in a cinema. Managed to watch more clearly than the first time when I was a puddle of tears. Thought I'd realise that I'd share a bunch of the criticisms of this that others tried to convince me of, but no!! This is just as brilliant, affectual, heartbreaking, true, perfectly done as when I first saw it. Love this

Also Jesus looks like a McPoyle in this. Not a bad thing, but with every (brilliant) close up of Him, I half expected Him to lick His lips

I saw the TV Glow. Holy shit this hit me hard. I started crying in like a first quarter of the film and didn't stop. That was so real. A glimpse into an alternate future. The scariest and realest and saddest film ever. Watched bang smack in the middle of a packed IMAX cinema. Tried to cover my sobs to the best of my ability.
