I love Paddington, I love Paddington so much. That little bear came into my life around five years ago when I finally decided to check it the first film and I just knew this was for me. It seriously motivated me into being kinder to everyone and having a more positive outlook on life alongside Mr Rogers and Ted Lasso. Then I saw Paddington 2 and of course I bawled my eyes out with that one.
Monumental really is the word to describe this. It's a LOT of movie. Brady Corbet really did the impossible with this one.
The movie flew by, even with the intermission. Not only because the story and performances are so rich but the extraordinary editing by Dávid Jancsó as well!
This examination of the American dream, the life of an artist and the immigrant experience left me thinking for a while.

Just awesomeness all around. Love that Benji became a recurring character and Brandt's secret history with Ethan made for a very interesting dynamic. Jeremy Renner playing the straight man against Ethan's insane plans is just what the franchise needed if you ask me.
