Back in Action 2025
Serviceable enough, anchored by two confident performers delivering wisecracks while protecting their family and country etc etc. One neon-flecked fight scene owes an extreme debt of gratitude to the far superior Netflix auction flick 6 Underground, the rest of the action is kinda forgettable. But Diaz and Foxx, and later Close, all lend enough charisma to make it watchable.

A Complete Unknown 2024
EDIT: It's been a day and I can't really stop thinking about this movie. I don't think I was expecting it to be such a concentration of musical energy. And I was impressed by its depiction of an artist relentlessly devoted to freedom - in ways that are both inspiring and destructive.
