This might be my longest review I've ever written. Not that the bar of writing it is high, but because while I've had movies I absolutely adore, I'm not always hugely vocal about them. If Chapter 1 was just getting a lay of the land, then Chapter 2 is building a fucking mountain of emotional depth on it. Truly one of the best theater experiences I've ever had. This is a special one ❤️

Having seen both versions, 'Evil Does Not Exist' is the superior version if only because 'Gift' dropped one of the funniest lines of this year.
The guy who introduced 'Gift' said the musical and dialogue-free version was still very much based on the same screenplay. And while yes many scenes were the same, the order was very much shuffled, especially in the first half. Some plot points are also non-existent in the musical version in order to tighten the length.…
