Rachel is a divorced single mother whose bad day gets even worse. She's running late to drop her son off at school when she honks her horn impatiently at a fellow driver during rush-hour traffic. After an exchange of words, she soon realizes that the mysterious man is following her and her young son in his truck. A case of road rage quickly escalates, at horrifyingly psychotic proportions, into full-blown terror as Rachel discovers the psychopath's sinister plan for revenge. He is single-mindedly determined to teach her a deadly lesson.

An incredibly silly but surprisingly efficient, mean, and brutal hybrid of Spielberg's Duel and Schumacher's Falling Down that cuts to black at exactly 81m. Russell crowe is as large, sweaty and cartoonishly psychotic as advertised, even his gut has a menacing screen presence. Some of the year's finest mugging and grunting. Absolute king shit. Nominate him.

Sturdy, safe and reliable Volvo station wagon holds up to the ultimate stress test as fat, angry, divorced-guy fights back against his oppressor: self-centered, entitled white women who are always late.
Giving this one an extra half star for Crowe's amazing fat guy acting, just mugging the whole movie, sweating, grunting, breathing heavily, popping pills, leering over a steering wheel and being thicc as hell.
Some pretty vicious ownage in this one too.

Mean-spirited in a way I'm not keen on, a film that feels like a pseudo-manifesto against all the personal annoyances of someone who earnestly believes in things like, say, people who talk loudly in a movie theater deserve the death penalty which, hey, I get the sentiment, but like you should probably seek professional help if you actually believe that. I get that the movie nominally depicts this in an antagonistic light, but there's a certain "let's hear 'em out" centrism that doesn't sit well with me and a subtext of conservative vigilante justice that's really just glorified domestic terrorism. Chekhov's Fortnite was funny tho

You know it’s 2020 when a Fortnite strategy was successfully used to stop an unhinged murderer. Also, the movie could’ve ended in twenty minutes with no casualties if the girl decided to just drive around and be a calm and responsible driver, but where’s the fun in that?
