Apart from Snoopy's dragged on subplot with the Red Baron, it captures the layback style of Peanuts and stays true to what it is instead of painfully modernized it.

"OOO!"
Well, this was a pleasant surprise.
With the recent influx of nostalgia-driven resurrections, it's nice to see one of them get it right.
It's also nice to see that the gang still resides in the timeless good old times; that Charlie Brown is still flying kites, Schroeder is still very much into Beethoven, and Lucy is still charging a meager five cents for psychiatric help. No smartphones, no computers, no video games. Just pen pals, typewriters, and snow days.
This is one of those movies that you have to show to every kid you know. This is one of those movies that's just impossible not to like. Young or old, fan or not, this film…
