A fun watch! For those who love horror cult classics. I am surprised that I hadn’t seen this one before. I am a huge Linnea Quigley fan which she is is awesome in this. The true star of this show is Amelia Kinkade. Perfect demon and does an awesome dance in front of a fireplace! The special effects are pretty awesome and the gore effects are excellent. The movie has lots of flaws but most cult movies do! You can check it out on shudder.

Somebody once insisted I would "grow out" of liking this movie.
WRONG.

Came for Suzanne shoving a lipstick into her nipple, stayed for Angela dancing to Bauhaus before eating some guy's face.

Well I couldn’t watch Witchboard and Witchtrap and then not watch Kevin Tenney’s best film, right? Because this IS his best film and it’s so much fun. Set on Halloween with a bunch of good for nothing kids partying in a haunted house and then getting possessed by demons might sound like an unoriginal plot, but it’s the execution that makes this one stand out among all the others. It’s got good direction, a great location, and silly bits scattered throughout. Plus, the cast is fun. Also most of those other similar movies completely ripped off this one so there’s that.
I’ll admit that the movie starts off a little slow as we are introduced to all of the characters, but…

It's Halloween and Angela is throwing one helluva party. Jack-o'-lantern. A pig-nose Stooge. The old fool. A real party. Hull fuckin' House. Bodacious boobs. A little Rocky Balboa. A PAC-MAN ass. Sour fuckin' balls. Yummy fudge! Coors beer. Count Dingleberry. Trippy-as-fuck strobe lights. Fuckin' batteries. Rodger is white as a ghost. A mirror. Extreme concentration. Fuckin' demons. A smart chicken shit. The French Kiss of Demonic Possession. A badass portable-audio-cassette-player. Angela's Flashdance moment. Acid fuckin' rock. Tongue kissing. Your first time fucking in a coffin. Lipstick tits. A cozy fire. Bye-bye eyes. Judy's Wonderland costume. Crouching tiger flying hand. Water pipes are the shit. Brave-as-fuck Sal. A long fall. An oven. Smart thinking. Your lucky lighter. The way Rodger runs.…

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
The black guy not only doesn't die first, and not only doesn't die second or third, he actually is not only one of the last survivors, but he actually survives the whole goddamn movie.
In the 1980s!!!!
Quite an impressive form of progressiveness for a horror/comedy that is teetering on softcore porn.

Pretty aggressively corny and horny Halloween party horror comedy that lands somewhere between Midnight Hour, Chopping Mall and Night of the Creeps. Mostly enjoyed it as a series of weird, mean-spirited demons gore gags when it eventually gets to them but it's one of those movies that sounds more fun and anarchic to describe scenes of to someone else than to actually sluggishly watch them. Just a few too many scenes of juvenile teens who have zero hangout chemistry (it's kind of unreal how clearly none of them enjoy being around each other) slowly walking through a room with cobwebs while you wait for the monsters to find them, however when they eventually do there are some solid creature FX…

Nasty little 80s horror movie in the style of "Evil Dead". Of course it doesn't quite come close to Sam Raimi's cult classic, but it's still entertaining.
What should be highlighted are the nice practical effects, which are also quite gory. The demonic make up of the possessed group members is also impressive.
On top there’s a great 80s synth/hair metal soundtrack.
The animated opening of "Night of the Demons" is almost the best of the whole movie.
