Super cute short film before 'Angry Birds 2'.
As a Dad of three boys this little gem really made me wish I had a daughter, as the father and daughter worked together to style her hair. Typical Dad move to try and just have her wear a hat. It was neat how the girl had a huge series of videos on her tablet for how to do each hairstyle.
The animation had a scratchy hand-drawn look to it, which added a lot of character to the little girl's hair. Hopefully, this will be in the running for Best Animated Short come Oscar season.

Was feeling some major Totoro vibes in this one.

This was honestly one of the best shorts I have ever seen. The story was so pure and touching, and the animation was stunning, absolutely stunning. Just, beautiful.

2019 Films RankedI loved everything about this. The characters, music, story, animation, all beautiful. Not to mention the cat. This is the first Oscar nominated short I’ve seen this year, and it couldn’t have been a better start.
