    This wasn't awful at all and had my attention the entire time, it didn't feel repetitive to me even though it definitely could have but there just was something missing. I also still don't get how Travis was in there looking for Becky when she got in there after him. Like I know time is weird in the grass but, still.

    I think I rated this film too harshly the first time I saw it because the opening scene was just so incredibly bleak but this sequel holds up incredibly well. The casting is phenomenal, if you told me the actors were the same as the child actors in the first film, I would believe you; their mannerisms are perfect. The visual effects were incredible and deserve all the stars and praise. I also appreciated the ending more this time around.…

    I'm so tired of rape and sexual assault against women being shown on screen like it's nothing as if it doesn't happen every single minute to real women. It's bullshit and there's no need for it in horror movies. If you have to result to that to shock your viewers, you're not talented and should not be making movies. Besides those scenes, this wasn't even good or scary. The only thing I liked was the family and their dynamic. Fuck you.

    I would have liked this a lot more if it was less focused on her relationships with men. Especially since most of them, except her father, were negative and laced with sexual assault in some way. That car scene was just too much; what was the point of making her friends with Olivia, who was a genuinely nice person, just for that scene to happen. The buildup was horrible. She had no positive relationships that lasted with any women. I hate when it's obvious a male directed a film with a female lead.
