Synopsis
Two young people arrive in New York to spend a weekend, but once they arrive they're met with bad weather and a series of adventures.

a rainy day in new york is a 2019 american romantic comedy film written and directed by woody allen. it stars woody allen, woody allen, woody allen, woody allen, woody allen AND woody allen. the film follows the romantic exploits of a young college student (allen) on a week-end vacation in nyc, his home town, trying to further bond with his college girlfriend (allen)

i honest to god did not think it was possible for timothée to give a bad performance (his character is named gatsby wells and that's all you need to know about this pretentious asshole). this film not only has a god awful script, it's cheesy, creepy, and it's just all around extremely uncomfortable? elle fanning's character was clearly only there for men to pick and choose from and diego luna's character was disgusting.
woody allen is such a fucked up pedophilic psychopath and it's honestly as if he wrote this film to laugh at and mock the film industry because he's gotten away with all of the shit he has. FUCK little white lies for saying this film should have gotten better distribution. mind-blowing. and what a WASTE of rebecca hall and suki waterhouse.. i am sick.

that Selena Gomez bodies everyone
else in this film, is a great actress, and
gives her finest performance here since
Spring Breakers, which is rather obvious
because most casting directors seemingly
haven't taken note of her talent. Take note.
