children’s movie about an overtly modern individual programmed to be solely a corporate slave who discovers that life’s greatest fulfillment is really being a parent (being in touch with nature) what in the fucking based?
apart from that, i’m so in agreement with everyone saying this should’ve gone the “silent film” route cause those first thirty minutes are adrenaline gold, but only for it to then become a masterclass in how many insincere moments can a movie contribute towards procuring a genuine need to just shut the fuck up and learn to dilate, focus! truly dystopian that this litter of impromptu pathos can even be in the same conversation as The Iron Giant or Wall•E.
