Dazzling animation and good voice performances, but the extremely wonky pacing really brought it down for me. Felt like it was the final scene like 4 or 5 different times it was so odd. Very repetitive too. Maybe I went in with the wrong expectations since the director has said he was inspired by Miyazaki's work but maybe he just meant visually. But seriously, this movie looks so damn good im glad I saw it on the biggest screen at my theater. Cute exterior but nothing much to offer beyond its style.
