The Lawnmower Man 1992

Think Tron but on a really bad acid trip. How did Pierce Brosnan agree to this? He plays a neuroscientist who turns animals and people into mind controlled killing machines, no research ethics in sight. I feel bad for the landscaper! I guess that Goldeneye money didn’t hit yet. It’s not a good movie by any means, but I’m glad I watched it! Quite memorable, I will show this to my friends to bewilder them until they succumb to my mind control.
Nosferatu 2024

I thought it was pretty good. I am a big fan of the original silent film and they managed not to piss me off. The acting was solid, Willem Dafoe really stole the show though. The only thing is the monster was not as scary as the original in my opinion. It was still a fun one to watch with some rewatch value. I will always prefer the original 1922 version though.

When I heard sex vampires from outer space that was more than enough to peak my interest, and Tobe Hooper no less! It has some cool scenes, it is super horny and has cool zombies. A bit all over the place, not quite coherent. But you do get to see Patrick Stewart make out with a dude, so that makes it all worth it.

Gnarly. Gives rebirth a new meaning. Creative use of montage to depict the fragmented self. An agonizing meditation on Hollywood and body image. New addition to body horror canon.
